I came today with little idea as to what "Intel" was all about and how it would be of use. I would have appreciated in the first couple of hours a clear description of what the course is actually teaching, a simple step by step process, and some examples of what has been done successfully, especially with students with special needs.Bottom line: no assumptions about prior knowledge.
At this stage I am far from being convinced that this will be of much use to us as special ed teachers. I believe strongly that our kids are limited in their ability to use higher order thinking skills and will learn far more effectively through practical learning with technology being of assistance and not the main tool.
